‘Ocean VII’ from the Dutch owner Van Der Zwan has been recently repaired. Its old fishing park equipment has been substituted by a brand new generation electrically acctioned one, which it is more efficient and have a better output that will save an important amount of energy.
The multidrum, monoblock winch include 8 drums, is actioned by 2 electrical motors of 240 Kw and controled by a frecuency converter. It will provide a major control of each drum according to the work done in each moment, and it will make the most of pulls and speeds on each use.
The winch installed, model IBERCISA MA-E/300/8/3500-32/IS, is made up of two 9m3 net drums, 4 Gilson drums with capacity for 240 m, 25 Tn pull and a maximum speed of 100 m/min, and the main winches achive a 20 Tn direct pull, a 160 m/min maximum speed and 3.500 m capacity with a Ø32 mm cable.
All net drums are provided with a complex friction clutching system actioned pneumatically, they are controlled remote from the bridge. All drums are actioned by a frecuency converter.
Van der Zwan had recently substituted its fishing equipments in vessels such as Willen, Alyda and Franciska by IBERCISA’s electric machinery.
